Pass/Fail

Today I was talking to Aaron's sister, Amber, and she was telling me about a developmental test she learned in one of her child development classes. She told me to put Asher in front of the mirror and let him look at himself. Remove him from the mirror and put a mark on his nose. Put him back in front of the mirror and see if he tries to touch the mark on the mirror or see if he tries to rub the mark off his nose. If he touches the mirror that means he still thinks that there is a different person in the mirror. If he touches his nose that he is self-aware...which typically happens between 2-2.5 years. So when Asher awoke from his nap, we put Asher to the test....and he PASSED! Woo-hoo! At 16 months, he is already self-aware. We've always thought he is a smarty-pants:)

This month Asher started coloring and it is one of his favorite thing to do everyday!
